Class experience

**Class Goals/Objectives:** By the end of this class, students will:

- Learn how to play D&D confidently and comfortably.
- Master game mechanics for early stages of the game (up to 5th level).
- Develop cooperation, communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Will Guy, founder of Role to Play Games, has worked as a teacher and coach his whole professional life and has been immersed in role-playing games ever since he was a child. Not only does he have classroom experience, he has also worked as a professional game master for participants aged 6-60.

Our goal is for your child to leave this lesson encouraged and enthusiastic, leading to further exploration of this fantastic game.
You'll need a D&D character sheet, dice (physical or an online roller), and pen and paper for any note-taking!
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
While we will keep the content age suitable, please know that there will be monsters, battles, and otherworldly magic. We will ensure that the game's content is appropriate for the age group. We encourage open communication between parents and the Game Master to address any concerns or questions that may arise. Our top priority is to create a safe and inclusive environment where kids can have fun and learn important life skills while playing Dungeons and Dragons.
We'll use official DnD content and the Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition (D&D 5E) ruleset.
