In this 5 week art course students will learn several useful techniques and skills in drawing.
Class experience
In this class students will be introduced to techniques and basic skills of drawing. Week 1: Shading Week 2: Contour Drawing Week 3: Gesture Drawing Week 4: Perspective Drawing Week 5: Optical Illusions Class will include an explanation and examples of techniques and styles. Students will create some practice samples and then will apply what they have learned into a full page drawing. The subject matter of the drawings is in the hands of the students, the focus is on technique and style....
Materials needed: Drawing pencils, Eraser (kneaded erasers are great, but if you don't have one, any eraser will do), a ruler (week 4), black permanent marker (week 5).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
