US Grade 3 - 6
Beginner Level
In this introductory class, students will learn how to draw six boxes "in perspective." We will demystify the concept of one point perspective by applying appropriate vocabulary and breaking down the process of using vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines, directional lines, a vanishing point, and color to create a drawing that looks three dimensional. Because this is a single-session class, there is no homework, but continued practice is encouraged! Learners who are interested in further exploring one point perspective are encouraged to take my intermediate one point perspective class and/or my longer one point perspective class!

I love teaching kids how to draw! Throughout my career, I have developed ways to break down an art process that seems difficult into small, easy to follow steps that break down the difficulty and fear, and help the student experience success.
