To learn the basics of cooking using a microwave and how it may differ from using more traditional cooking methods (eg a stove or oven).
No live meetings, and an estimated 10 - 20 minutes per week outside of class.
- Kitchen basics will be needed, which you will likely already have - things like forks, microwave-safe bowls, microwave-safe plates, etc. - A microwave will be needed (duh, right?). - Each week will require different ingredients. At a minimum for the entire four weeks you will need: 1) At least three eggs 2) A potato 3) Nutella or generic chocolate-hazelnut spread 4) Butter or margarine 5) A filet of salmon (frozen or unfrozen) or any other fish 6) Any vegetables you wish to accompany the fish
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners will post pictures of their results of their cooking in the classroom.
