Class experience
We will break down the foundation skills of crochet into 4 weeks of work. This gives students time to practice each new skill before moving on as well as giving each student a chance to follow up with me in the next class if they need help. 1. Yarn -(choose ONE ball of yarn) size 5 or size 6. These sizes are also called bulky (5) and
super bulky (6). The smaller the yarn, the more difficult it will be to use.
2. A crochet hook that corresponds to your chosen yarn (I will include a video about this).
3. Stitch markers. (They should be able to open) These can be purchased at craft stores/online (Amazon has 100 for $4.99) You
can also use paper clips as stitch markers. Students should start with at least 5 stitch
markers but most packs have more than that.
4. Scissors
