Class Experience
Students will learn the basics of cooking, kitchen cleanliness, how to measure different ingredients, and will gain better time management and organizational skills through the practice of mise-en-place.
Frequently used supplies: Oven Microwave Stove Baking sheet Mixing bowls Measuring cups/spoons (1 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/4 cup, 1 tablespoon, 1/2 tablespoon, 1 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, 1/4 teaspoon, 1/8 teaspoon) Frequently used ingredients: Flour Sugar Salt Pepper Garlic Powder Olive Oil I share the upcoming week's ingredient and supply list on the class board Sundays/Mondays before each upcoming class.

Potential Hazards: We will be using an knives, an oven, a stove and a microwave in this course. Potential Allergens: Eggs, wheat, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans
