Description

Class Experience

Students will be familiar with Classical music history and be able to discuss what made each time period unique. They'll have a basic knowledge of the composers from each period and how they helped classical music evolve. They will be familiar with the composers who helped develop each time period the most.
I've studied music and music history since I was a young music student myself. I have loved learning about the great musical composers and the incredible history of Classical music. I have taught music both through private lessons and online lessons for over 10 years.
Homework and participation in classroom discussions are optional but highly encouraged. Students will learn a lot from the daily videos but will learn significantly more if they do the encouraged music listening and participation in the classroom discussions.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
