Class Experience
Students will improve their understanding of how to use the medium charcoal, and how to use that medium to create the illusion of form on a 2 dimensional surface using two flat shapes.
No homework.
1 file available upon enrollmentCharcoal stick (Black) and charcoal pencil Vine charcoal Pencil 9" x12" white drawing paper (a couple sheets) newsprint paper (a couple sheets) one sheet paper towel kneaded eraser or regular eraser *You can get a charcoal set at Amazon. They have the Amazon's Choice for "Charcoal for drawing" at $7.13 for the 1 pack and Amazon Choice for Faber-Castell kneaded Eraser with case for $3.28 * Michaels craft store also has a charcoal set for $5.99 (it does not come with vine charcoal). Michaels also has the kneaded eraser for $1.99 to $2.49. Vine charcoal sticks for $4.99.
