Have you thought about working in the healthcare field, but aren't sure what area or job will be a good fit for you? It is best to understand to narrow down a job within the field so you can sign up for the right educational training. It is even better to understand what tasks you will perform, what schedules the job requires and more so you know if the lifestyle of that job fits what you are willing to commit to before you begin your course of study. Teacher expertise and credentials
After working in the medical field as a clinical medical assistant for 8 years, I learned from experience that there were many things I didn't consider before jumping into education enrollment. I worked in Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, Urology, and Family Practice offices. Deciding on a career in the health care field requires contemplation of aspects of the job beyond salary and education time and financial commitments, it requires the student to explore what the lifestyle of those careers involves. A few years ago, I was faced with many of these decisions when I returned to the work force after being a caregiver for my youngest children and the experience I had early in my career helped guide my researching and consideration for returning to the health and wellness field. I am eager to share this wisdom with teenagers before they take the leap!
