Class Experience

Students in this class will learn different drawing techniques to draw their favorite anime characters.  They will learn how to use different lines, and they will learn how to use dark and light lines to create contrast in their drawings.  Learners will master basic shadowing techniques to bring depth to their character.   After they finish drawing their characters in detail, we will paint it using watercolors. Students will learn the basics of drawing.  They will learn how one line, and then another line can lead to any picture of their choice.  A straight line, a curved line, or a wavy line can create a face!  They will learn about primary colors, secondary colors, and mixing different paints to create different colors!  In the end, your learner will know how to draw, and how to create the colors needed for his/her favorite anime character!

I love anime and I have a Bachelors of Art and Design.  In addition, I have been drawing anime since the age of 11 years old, and I have never stopped.

Homework will not be given.

1) Watercolor and acrylics paint pad - You can find this item at Walmart for as low as $3.97. 
2) Watercolor paints - This item can be found at Walmart for as low as $1.97

No other tools are needed.  However, for more advanced classes, more tools will be needed.

No letter grade will be given.  If you would like a letter grade, please message me, and I will provide one for your learner.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
