In this five week class, learners will be introduced to animal science using hands on activities and discussion.

Class Experience
learners will need the following: week 1 - open ears and minds! week 2 - sandwich baggie, slice of white bread, 3oz. cup, orange juice or cola, paper towel week 3 - lard, sandwich baggie, large bowl, ice, water week 4 - soil, fresh kitchen scraps, shredded newspaper, grass clippings, leaves, earthworms, large empty jar with lid (poke holes in lid) week 5 - microscope, blank slides, pippette, cup, slide cover, access to water source (lake, ocean, river, dog water, livestock pond, etc.)
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
