Description

Class Experience

This course is designed for students that have an interest in the human body. Students will engage in interactive lessons and lab activities that provide a strong foundational knowledge of the anatomical systems of the human body. Using movement labs, games, and interactive coloring students will gain a deeper understanding of anatomy and physiology. 

Previous experience in biology is recommended for this course. Students who do not possess prior knowledge in these subject may need extra...

Students will build foundational knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

I hold a Bachelors of science in Health Sciences and a Masters of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics. I am a full-time healthcare professional (resident orthotist). I have been a science educator for over 6 years.

- access to a printer is strongly recommended

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

There will be images of muscles and organs presented in this class. Most images will be drawn or electronically generated; however, there may be some photos of  live or cadaver based anatomical structures. If your child has a sensitivity to such images, please let me know.
