In this one-time class, students will learn the basics of writing an admissions or scholarship essay from an admissions essay expert.

US Grade 10 - 12
This one-time course will introduce learners to admission essay writing. The focus will be on the Common App Personal Statement, but the knowledge gained can be applied to any admission or scholarship essay. Students will walk away with a folder of resources and the beginning of their brainstorming documents. I have been teaching English and ESOL for the past 10 years. I am also an Academic Success Coach and Writing Coach.
Homework Offered
Students will receive a timeline and guide to completing their Common App essay, whether they choose to continue individually or sign up for future classes with me.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
