Class Experience

Students will learn basic performance elements and the process of work selection, preparation, rehearsal, and presentation.
To recognize, understand and use basic elements of theatrical, dance, and vocal performance.
To be familiar and in control of the student’s talent, through proper warm-ups, techniques and style of performance
I have been an actress my whole life. Performing and living my life on the stage has been my calling since I could talk. As I have gotten older and more advanced in my career I have realized how many students grow with the same aspiration as I without proper knowledge and training to make those aspirations reality. I wanted to do so, I want to push students into believing whatever they see themselves doing in the arts that it is possible and achievable, and since I am currently active and still in the industry making my dreams reality. I see no other way to inspire youth than by teaching them to do so.
Homework will be performance and discussion based. An assignment will be given after every class and due the following class.
Students may need to purchase sheet music from the listed source above, music I do have access to searching music for students but in the case I am unable to find a song selection their next option would be to use music notes. Where the music ranges from $5-7.

Learning will be assessed on the following effort, participation, and mastery of the content that has been learned.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
