Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will be able to describe the 12 principles of animation and be able to apply new animation techniques to their work. They will understand how animation works and know how to enhance their current work.
I have a BFA in Animation and work professionally as an animator, as well as having taught animation to young people for the past 2 years.
Please make sure your student (if they plan to animate along) has an animation program where they know how to:
> make a new frame
> change the frame rate
> use the onion skin feature

For digital animation, materials may include: a drawing tablet for computers or an ipad/smartphone + stylus.
For traditional animation, materials may include: a flipbook or post-it note pad, and a light table
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
  • An animation application
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
