1 hour per week. Students will be given one Kahoot activity and one worksheet to complete during the duration of the class. Since this is a self paced class, when the learner completes the assignments is up to the family. The homework can be turned in once completed for feedback.Class Experience

⭐In this 3 lesson self paced class, learners will know the difference between the tens & ones place, the difference between vertical & horizontal equations, and be able to solve 2-digit addition equations where they do not need to regroup!⭐

Students will be able to add 2-digit numbers without regrouping using standard form.Syllabus
3 Lessons
over 1 WeekLesson 1:
Tens & Ones
Students will be able to determine the difference between the tens place and the ones place in a 2-digit number. Lesson 2:
Vertical Equations
Students will know the difference between a vertical equation and a horizontal equation and will learn the importance of writing equations vertically when adding 2-digit numbers. Lesson 3:
Adding 2-Digit Numbers
Students will be able to add 2-digit numbers together by first writing their equation vertically, then adding up the digits in the ones place, followed by adding up the digits in the tens place to get their final answer. Other Details
Parental Guidance
Kahoot is utilized in this class. Students will be given a link via the Outschool classroom to access this activity. Kahoot is free and you do not need to have an account to complete the activity.
Supply List
Printable resources will be provided but are not required to be printed to use. Students should have paper and a writing utensil to work through the homework and activities given in class.
