Description

Class Experience

Each lesson focuses on simple, everyday vocabulary that young learners will have the opportunity to use at home. A manageable number of vocabulary words are introduced in each lesson and then used in simple sentences to facilitate retention. For examples, one lesson might introduce 5 nouns or so, such as "ball," "table," chair," "book," and "cup." After reviewing these words in the colorful and engaging Powerpoint presentation, which includes pictures and very short videos (3-5 seconds), I...

This class is taught in English.

"Dr. Chris" has a  Ph.D. from the Jewish Theological Seminary and has taught various languages to students of all ages and at all levels of learning, and he holds a certification in Spanish by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. He also teaches Arabic and Hebrew for Outschool.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
