This 9-session course prepares young learners for successful worldschooling experiences by developing essential mindsets and practical skills. Each 45-minute session combines interactive discussions, real-world examples, and hands-on activities. Throughout the course, we'll cover: - Developing the worldschooling mindset that transforms everyday experiences into learning opportunities - Building resilience and adaptability for the challenges of long-term travel - Creating personalized learning pathways based on individual interests - Respectfully engaging with diverse cultures and communities - Maximizing educational value from museums and historical sites - Acquiring basic language skills quickly and effectively - Developing navigation and safety skills for unfamiliar environments - Recognizing and overcoming cultural biases and stereotypes - Organizing and packing efficiently for learning on the go My teaching style is highly interactive, with a balance of presentation, group discussion, and individual activities. Each session includes real-world examples, video clips of worldschooling families, and opportunities for students to share their own travel experiences or aspirations. Students will participate in collaborative problem-solving activities, role-playing scenarios, and creative projects that prepare them for real-world worldschooling situations.

I'm a pioneering educator and seasoned worldschooling expert with over a decade of experience in alternative education approaches. As the founder of Adventure Family Journal (www.adventurefamilyjournal.com) and of Bravely Travel (www.bravelytravel.com), I've transformed my passion for educational travel into comprehensive resources that have guided many families in their worldschooling journeys.
My expertise comes from my authentic lived experience. Since 2018, I've worldschooled my four children across more than 50 countries on 6 continents, creating an immersive educational experience that serves as the foundation for my teaching methodology.
This extensive first-hand experience has allowed me to develop and refine practical strategies for transforming travel experiences into rich educational opportunities for children of various ages and learning styles.
