Intro to Watercolor: Let’s Make a Rainbow!

In this class students will test each of the colors in their watercolor palette, learn how to pick up and change colors, at the end we will make a rainbow. This class is for complete beginners, using very basic brush strokes.

Class Experience

Students will gain understanding on painting with watercolor. How to activate and use the colors. How to use watercolor materials as intended. Gain confidence when using watercolor. 
Supply list to use watercolor:
Watercolor paint 2$ or more
Colors, have at least 5 colors. (Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)
3 pages of Watercolor paper 10$ (or more for 10 or more pages, 4x6 or larger)
Small paint mixing palette 2$ (for a small set)
Soft synthetic bristle round brush 2$ (for a small set)
HB lead pencil or #2 pencil
Absorbent paper towels 2$ (or more for a roll of paper towels)
Two water containers 
Spray bottle or dropper 
You should be able to find these materials online, most of these you might find at art section in discount stores (except for watercolor paper)
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
