Join in as this class delves into the basics or how one evaluates the candidates running for office in their district, including State, County, and Federal offices. Learn how to: - Determine your voting values and the importance of value prioritization; - Find out who is running in your district; - How to tell if an incumbent has been keeping their campaign promises; - Determine what ballot initiatives are being proposed; and - So much more! By the end of this class, students will have a solid framework when looking at political candidates and will be the informed electorate that Thomas Jefferson and the other founding fathers deemed necessary to form a more perfect union.

This class is taught from a neutral point of view politically. It is going to be a lesson in critical review of candidates from all policy positions and how to match the learners values to the people that they elect.
