US Grade Kindergarten - 2
Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this engaging and hands-on math class for kindergarten through 2nd grade students, young learners will explore subtraction concepts using fun and interactive visual aids. Through the use of colorful objects, number lines, and engaging story problems, students will build a strong foundation in understanding "taking away" and finding differences. Topics covered- * Subtract up to 5 * Word problems within 5 *Subtract up to 10 *Word problems within 10 *Subtract up to 20 *Word problems within 20 * Review *Assessment of understanding Activities are designed to be interactive to keep the student engaged. Lessons will include videos demonstrating the material taught and/or lectures. I will also provide homework for each lesson. Homework will be graded and include feedback. The purpose of the homework is to determine what are the student may need help in. Week 7 is a review of all the material learned in the course. Week 8 will be an end of unit assessment to determine the students understanding of the material. Feedback will be provided to each student. Assignments can be requested for students to practice.

Pre-Requisites
Students should be able to count to twenty.
Supply List
Notebook Pencil with eraser Objects to use as visual aids- students can use small objects such as small toys, counters, blocks, stationary etc.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
