Class Experience

The Learner Will:
Have the ability to name different parts of the Body in Spanish
Be able to write the the names of parts of the Body in Spanish
Sing "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" in Spanish
I grew up in a Spanish-Speaking country where speaking Spanish became one of my "first" languages. I hold a Minor in Spanish and I majored in English as an undergraduate student.
There will be homework that has to do with just practice. Worksheets will be provided. Students will be expected to practice what they learned the previous day and join class ready to participate and learn something new each day.
Paper, Pencil, Colorful utensils such as colored pencil, crayons, markers.
To make sure that the students have understood and learned the main parts of the body in Spanish, the teacher will play the “Simon Says” game for a couple minutes.
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Learners will be learning about different body parts. They will be encouraged to point to and touch body parts such as: the knee, elbow, head, shoulders, toes etc.
