Bienvenido! Welcome! I'm a former preschool teacher who studied the Spanish language while living 2 years in Ecuador. I am a fun and high energy teacher that enjoys working with young learners. I like to get to know students and scaffold learning based on their previous performance. This is why I keep classes to a maximum of 4 learners. I like to keep the classes short to make sure the young learners attention is held through the whole class. In this course we will cover the basic color palate and numbers 1-10 in Spanish. I use interactive 3d and movement games to teach through play. We sing songs, play color charades, and they will be able to direct a 3d ipad game at the end of the course. I use digital effect software to display games so children can clearly see and participate. I'll use Spanish during our introduction and for direction, but will break to english if children are not following along. They will be speaking in no time!
Learning Goals
Students will learn basic colors, numbers 1-10, and simple directional verbs.

Parental Guidance
We will be sitting/standing/jumping/ and dancing for a portion of class. Please position the camera so that we can all see eachother!

Welcome to Outschool! My name Jessica, I am a fun loving, energetic, and bilingual (Spanish) instructor. I teach courses focused around basic animation graphics and add in basic Spanish vocabulary. My background is in Early Education, but I've recently changed careers to Animation Graphics. I would like to share some basics of the new career discoveries with the Outschool Community of Leaners.
In my spare time I enjoy playing the drums, practicing piano, playing sports, dancing, training my puppy, gardening, traveling, and DIY home decor projects.
