Intro to Spanish - Basics Through Art and Reading

Please note this is the flex class. There are NO live meetings for this class. The material will be posted weekly and you can view it during the week at your convenience.

OVERVIEW:
This is a 4 week Spanish course for beginners where students will be guided via video lessons that I have pre-recorded as well as other material. All messaging and tasks will be done through the classroom messages on Outschool. The goal is to have the students acquire some Spanish vocabulary, have fun, and have them speak some basic Spanish. I am also a native Spanish speaker.

Each week students will get access to 3 videos and 1 pdf story:
- A video covering the main topic of the week with animations
- A video with me reading a story that I created and that I provide to the students
- A video of me drawing something in Spanish which the student can follow, with Spanish Vocabulary and weekly drawing challenge for the student

STUDENT INTERACTION
After watching the main video of the week, students will submit an audio recording of themselves practicing the vocabulary and sentences. I will correct any pronunciation mistakes on Fridays. Students should also submit their art to the classroom page and comment on art projects from the other students.
