The goal of this class is to introduce students to the Spanish language. This class is perfect for beginners. Especially middle school or high school age students about to start Spanish in school the next year. I will be creating a few more Spanish classes so if students want to move to the next level they will be able to.
I was born in Chicago and my parents were born in Puerto Rico. I learned Spanish at home and at school. I took Spanish in elementary, middle and high school. I started teaching Spanish in private schools in 2007. The schools I have worked at did not have a Spanish curriculum at first so I had to research and choose one for the school to use. I have also had to create my own curriculum along the way. I have taught Spanish to grades kindergarten to high school I have also taught adults. The last 3 years I have been teaching Spanish online. I love sharing my culture with my students.
Homework Offered
The homework should not be challenging and if any additional help is needed I am just an email away.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
The learner will be given a list of the vocabulary for the lesson and worksheets to do. These worksheets can be submitted during the week by scanning or even by taking a picture. The student will also be assessed by sending a video or an audio of themselves reading the vocabulary. This is a Spanish class where they will be learning how to speak another language so it is important that they take time to speak the words out loud.Grades Offered
