Description
Class Experience
We will have open forum discussions about common dive practices such as proper ascents and descents, mask clearing, gear identification and function, and time for Q and A.
I earned my first dive certification in 2011, and have been in love with the underwater world ever since. I hope to not only inspire curious learners to want to dive and explore the ocean for all of its beauty, but to see what damage has been done to our Earths oceans and what we can do to help.
No Homework
1 file available upon enrollmentA one-page handout will be provided the day of class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will discuss the proper use of dive knives. I teach they are carried and used for entanglement situations, not as weapons against sea life.
