Beginner Level

You can create one here: https://scratch.mit.edu/ NOTE: Some classes I offer to continue from this beginner course are: LVL 1 FLEX: https://bit.ly/3tyF7yH Scratch Programming One-on-One Coding Sessions: https://bit.ly/3ABLcxu Scratch Programming Group: https://bit.ly/3wGQ8jz OVERVIEW: This class will teach the students how to navigate the Scratch environment while also getting the opportunity to code. This includes things such as how to create new projects, where to find those projects, what the different types of code blocks are for and so on. I will be teaching on Scratch so students will be able to view my screen and follow along while interacting at the same time. PROGRAMMING: Students will learn how to: ■ Navigate Scratch ■ Add sprites and backgrounds ■ Add motion to a sprite ■ Add sound to an action ■ Create an event ■ Create a simple game EXPERIENCE: No experience is required for this class. THIS COVERS THE VERY BASICS OF SCRATCH. I have a degree in Computer Engineering Technology and experience working as a Software Developer.

David holds a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Technology and has a background in software development. His diverse teaching experience includes mentoring teenagers, teaching robotics and programming to students of all ages, leading art classes, and instructing English and Spanish as second languages to students across different age groups.

Alishea holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science and has experience in software development and bioinformatics. After roughly 5 years of dedicating her time to research she decided to serve the world as an educator. She has experience teaching English as a second language and tutoring in math and science.
