Teacher expertise and credentials
North Carolina Teaching Certificate in English/Language Arts
Having served as a K-5 teaching librarian for over a decade I’ve led thousands of students on deep-dives into countless topics ranging from the Titanic to dinosaurs, time travel to cryptography, treasure hunting to photography. We don’t just read books, we find, analyze, evaluate, and create websites, videos, podcasts. We identify places to visit, people to talk to, questions to ask. In other words, we transform interests into passions. I’m excited to take my unit study of Robots & Artificial Intelligence, one of my most well-received studies, out of the traditional classroom and now share it with your family through Outschool!
