Step into the world of game development with Intro to Roblox Studio: Beginner's Workshop! In this one-time session, students will explore the basics of Roblox Studio, learning how to navigate the interface, build and model objects, and use essential tools to create their first game environment. We'll also introduce basic Lua scripting, showing how to add simple functionality to your creations. Whether you're brand new to coding or eager to start building and scripting in Roblox, this workshop will equip you with the foundational skills to bring your game ideas to life!
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to navigate Roblox Studio and use basic building and modeling tools to create game environments.Students will understand the fundamentals of Lua scripting to add simple interactions and functionality to their creations.
Students will gain confidence in using Roblox Studio to begin developing their own games independently.Other Details
Parental Guidance
Roblox Studio can be used by children of any age. Children under the age of 13 should be directly supervised by a parent, guardian or another authorized adult (such as a teacher) who agrees to be bound by our Terms of Use.
