Class Experience
This lesson covers the CommonCore Standards for learning percents in 6th grade. These lessons can be used as a refresher course or extra help with learning the new skill. I will teach the basic parts of this standard so that students get a firm understanding of how to convert fractions to percents and percents to fractions. This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their knowledge on percents. Students will be able to find the percentage of a number. Students will be able to use a graphic organizer to sort information. Students will be able to use key words to identify important numbers.
I am a special education teacher, who teaches grades 6-8th. I am currently teaching 6th grade math in a public virtual school.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
