This class goes over watercolor basics. - Color - Watercolor Techniques - Practice My class will start out with an introduction to myself, then some information about watercolor. Next, we will talk about color theory and apply some practice about watercolor technique. Finally, we will do a quick walk through of a watercolor painting together. At the end of the lesson, students should have a painting of their own and a better understanding of watercolor to be able to make their own works of art! I would love for students to be able to follow along with their own paints at home. I would suggest ordering some online and have paints and paper ready before class begins. Students are allowed to ask questions and share their painting experience during the paint along section.

You will need - watercolor paint - paint brush - White gel pen - watercolor paper - cup for water - paper towel For the watercolor paints, you can use any watercolor paints you have. If you do not have your own, I suggest this set from amazon that includes the paint brush. This is the set I will be using in my classes. I will be using Strathmore Watercolor paper, cold press, 140lb.
