Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
Are you looking for a fun, interactive way to teach your young child the basics of math? Look no further! This class will offer the basics of mathematics in a fun, eye-opening way. I have been tutoring mathematics since 2014.

In this class we will practice using numeral recognition with dominoes and dice.
1- Practice our numbers 1-10
2- Make a dice/domino craft (I will send the pdf before class)
3- We will play a matching game to determine mastery
4- We will do a fun stacking game to end the class
Learning Goals
Students will learn the basic beginnings of math. We can go as fast or slow as needed. The students will be able to recognize the numbers 1-10, then practice counting the dots on the dice. This will lead them to be able to accomplish the games. The games at the end are if time permits. The students will be able to use their projects after class to continue playing the game and practicing.
