Class Experience

Students will learn the basics of some of the top Marvel superheroes and villains. Most importantly they will learn where to start with some of the classic stories without having to spend a ton of money up front. This class is meant to be a launching pad into more classes where I will have the time to take deeper dives into this vast universe.
There is no homework for this class being that it is a one time session. There will be no projects to complete, although there will be a recommended list of story arcs and books given at the end of the class so that learners can embark (with their parents) on the journey of reading these classic stories and enjoying the world of Marvel comics.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:

If they have their camera and microphone turned off the entire time, there is no way for me to tell if they are actually learning or doing something else with their time. It is important to use a computer with a reliable camera and microphone.
1 hour per week in class, and no time outside of class.
I will be using the Marvel Encylopedia (
