Class Experience

If you’ve been looking to explore the world of high-quality jewelry making, this is the class for you! In this introductory bracelet making class, students will create their own beautiful beaded bracelets and learn about the tools, tips and tricks, and skills required for growing jewelers to create professional-style jewelry. Students will learn how to use jewelry pliers, crimping pliers, wire cutters, bead stringing wire, and other essentials including crimp tubes, jump rings, and clasps to create polished pieces. After just this one class, students will have the knowledge and power to continue creating beautiful jewelry for years to come.

Working with bead stringing wire is one of the most valuable skills in creating professional style jewelry. This class is one of the best options a growing jewelry can engage in for expanding their skills!

This class is ideal for any student who:
• Wants to explore making this style of bracelets for the first time
• Has made a handful of bracelets like these before and wants to get better
• Wants to start a business selling jewelry
• Wants to have fun making bracelets

What to expect when you sign up for this class:
•We'll make a complete professional style bracelet within the class time, and we'll discuss given additional ideas at the end of class for more designs to experiment with.
• Students will learn the most important skills of bracelet making so that they can continue creating new bracelet designs long after our class together.
• Each step of creating our bracelet is carefully explained, and within each step students can work at their own pace.
• Class sizes are kept small to ensure that all enrolled students receive personalized attention and instruction, helping every growing jeweler excel.
• Students are asked to keep their microphone off so that everyone can hear instructions clearly, but we also turn our mics on throughout the class to share thoughts, answer questions, and share our work.
• If students need more time to complete a project even as class time is coming to a close, students will have the choice to stay a few minutes longer to finish their work. There's no rush when creating art!

Highlights of This Class:
• This class is for any student who has a passion for getting started or getting better at jewelry making. No previous experience is required!
• As the instructor, I have two cameras up: a regular face camera and a second close-up camera on my hands so that students can see the close-up details of every step.
• Students are guided and supported every step of the way to reach their goals.
• Students are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and share their work with one another as we create together!
