Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
After this class, learners will feel confident with the basic Blender interface and several aspects including transformation of objects, basic materials, lighting, and rendering.
I've been creating 3D things with Blender and other 3D software for well over a decade -- making 3D renders, animations and 3D objects for games.
Students must download and install the latest version of Blender (version 3.1 as of this writing) before the class if they want to follow along. I'll be sharing my screen showing Blender running on my computer and instructing from there. Software Requirements: Blender Hardware Requirements: A desktop or laptop Computer that from the the last 10 years running Windows, Mac or Linux. NOTE: Blender does not run on Chromebooks or mobile tablets & devices! Helpful things to have: A second monitor or device for the zoom meeting A three-button mouse (left mouse, right mouse, and a clickable scroll wheel)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Downloading and installing the latest version of Blender is required to follow along in this class. No account creation is required - Blender is completely free to get and use!
