Beginner Level
In this one time session, students will gain the foundations of what multiplication is. I will be covering the definition of multiplication, what it means to multiply, and how multiplication is an effective way to solve problems. I will teach this through visuals and examples. Students will need something to write on and a writing utensil. I will pause and have them do some practice on their own. I am not an all lecture type of teacher, I am a "let's practice" to gain proficiency type of teacher. This will just be a foundations class, but I will start a series if I have enough interest.
