1 hour per week. No formal homework, however students should continue to practice their techniques.Class Experience
Students will learn the basics of kickboxing including; proper stance, movements, guards, how to throw straight punches and round kicks. We will combine these techniques and develop combinations. Students will get a great workout while learning some new skills. Techniques will be practiced in a shadow boxing style (unless you currently have a punching bag but this is not necessary). Students will have the opportunity to create and share their own combniations with the others. Sharing their practice will assist in sharpening their techniques and gaining feedback. Classes will begin with a warm-up, followed by learning and practicing the techniques, finishing with stretching. No previous knowledge is required. Student are encouraged to practice their techniques throughout the week.
