Class Experience
Jazz dance is a fun form of dance that blends both European and African dance styles. It is a very lively type of dance. In this one time class, your student will get a crash course in the most important and fundamental steps of the jazz dance style. I teach dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading. I currently coach gymnastics at a local recreation center in the DFW area and teach children's ballet at a facility in Fort Worth. I also owned my own studio for two years in Grand Prairie, Texas. It was called Dance With Jenny!
*Jazz dance shoes (strongly recommended) *Open space to dance in *Water
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
An adult caregiver should supervise students as they take this class and ensure that they adhere to the correct flooring requirement, spacing requirement, and clothing requirement. Dance is a physical art form and injuries can occur if children are not focused and not practicing in the right setting or clothing. Please encourage students to wear ballet or jazz dance shoes.
