Class Experience
What is hydroponics and why use it? What are the resources involved in growing good food? How can we maximize those resources to produce the most food? Learners will see the parts of a simple hydroponic growing system and talk about how each part meets the needs of the plants. We will learn how plants get the nutrition, light, water and bacteria which they need to grow. We will also discuss how this basic hydroponic system can be transformed to the protein producing system of aquaponics! ...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
