In this one time class, students will learn ten new Hindi vocabulary words, and increase their awareness of the Hindi language as well as confidence in speaking Hindi.
Class experience
In this 30-minute one-time class, we will focus on learning a variety of delicious new words-in Hindi! Bring your own fruits along or use the flashcards I provide to learn the Hindi words for ten different fruits! This class is a perfect introduction to Hindi language vocabulary for even the littlest learners! Students will learn to speak ten new fruit words in Hindi, and be able to recall them accurately when asked.
I lived in India for 3 years, learned Hindi both formally (in a school setting), and informally (through immersion in the culture), and now am married to a native language speaker who helps me to continue improving my language skills daily!
Homework Offered
Students will be given flashcards to practice their new vocabulary at home, and the time spent practicing after class will help them retain this new information! 5-10 minutes a day of practice will help these new words stick!Assessments Offered
