Description
Class Experience
This class will cover the twelve Olympian Gods, plus two other Olympian Gods, and is a great introduction to Greek mythology. The Gods and Goddesses that will be covered are: Zeus, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, Demeter, Hestia, Artemis, Apollo, Hephaestus, Dionysus, Hermes, Ares, Aphrodite, and Athena The class will cover the personalities, symbols, and most important aspects or stories of each God or Goddess. Class Structure: 30 minutes - Powerpoint presentation 5 minutes - Pop quiz for...
Students will learn about who the Olympian Gods were, how the seats on Olympus were filled, and be able to identify key traits of each God or Goddess.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be a pop quiz portion at the end of the powerpoint presentation
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
