Intro to Fashion Design Plus: From Concept to Design Collections 1-1
In this multi day Design Intensive, students will learn the techniques and structure to start their Design journeys! The lessons will be tapered to suit each individual student's abilities. I teach using Industry Standards and Techniques.
Class Experience
Beginner - Advanced Level
Fashion Design is more than sketching on paper. Creativity and Technique go hand in hand! 🔸This private course can be auto-scheduled using my available time slots. 🔸This course meets 4 times. 🔸I will assess the learner's knowledge and ability, then work on lessons where they are comfortable. Students will be following along the lessons, but are also encouraged to find their own style. Questions are encouraged as well! To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 4x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.
- Students will learn the techniques and structure to start their Design journeys.
- Students will have the opportunity to discuss their design goals and learn from a designer based in NYC.
This class is taught by a veteran fashion designer.

I will taper each lesson to the student's abilities and work from there.
Students may work traditionally or digitally. These are the recommended supplies to cover any lessons: Traditional: A printed Fashion Form (known as a Croquis) Plain white paper (8.5" x 11") Marker paper Fine tip black felt tip marker (non bleeding, like Copic or Micron), it's good to have a .5 and 1.0 if possible Ruler (with inches) Pencil and eraser Colored pencils and alcohol based markers -OR- Digital Art Medium: Tablet with art program of choice (I use Procreate) My favorite coloring tool is a free Watercolor brush, that I downloaded for free! Charged stylus pen
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
