Description

Class Experience

This is a 2-Part 60 minute (120 minute total) live online class, which will cover the Intro course "Creating a Fashion Croquis". This is a two session class. In session 1, I will be showing students step-by-step lessons that they will follow along to complete their fashion design figure.  In session 2, I will teach students how to create a Walking pose (Catwalk pose). I will also show students how to illustrate an outfit on the Croquis. Students will sketch along with me during this session....

I am offering this class to to give your child the knowledge to empower their creative designs. It's sometimes difficult to get what's in your head out on paper to be able to share with your loved ones, so by learning the basic figure template, all you need is your creativity to flow onto the page!

Before we begin, to save time, students will need to have a sheet of plain white paper (8.5"x11"), with 1" horizontal lines drawn down the entire paper. There will be 10 lines total on this size paper.

Plain white paper (8.5" x 11")
Tracing paper or Vellum
Pencil
Fine tip black marker
Ruler (with inches)

*NOTE: You will need to draw Horizontal lines 1" apart down the legnth of your paper PRIOR to the start of class. (using 8.5'x11" paper, it will be 10 lines total). See attached image for clarification.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

* This class starts on time. We can not go back through missed steps if a student arrives late. Thank you for understanding.
