This course is great for students who are interested in starting their own business. (Parents: Using the pet-sitting business as our example, students will be learning vital business, math, and money skills.) Basic concepts taught: creating a business plan, advertising techniques, financial risks, profit vs. loss, & providing quality customer care. This will be a live-interactive class taught by small business owner.
While students will have a fun learning experience, they’ll actually be learning useful business, math and money skills. We’ll cover the basic concepts of operating a business: marketing, money management, increasing profit margins, and delivering excellent customer service to those we serve. Pets are welcome in the classroom, providing they are not a distraction to the learning process.
