This class is taught in English.
Students will learn the main functions of DJing from connecting their equipment to knowing where to mix or cut their songs and song selection. Beatmatching will be the emphasis of this course as it is an art that takes time and practice to acquire.
I have been a DJ since I was 12 years old and at my age of 35 I have well over 23 years of experience. I have started with the most limited of equipment so my level of expertise working with limited options is very high. I have a highly adaptable personality due working in customer service for over 10 years. I also have experience training and adapting to different personalities. This gainful experience was acquired through customer service work and owning an e-commerce business for the last 3 years.
The learners will have some homework but not very much as the emphasis is practice and learning in class.

I will assess each and every student based on task completion and the level of expertise. I use this to determine what each student will need further assistance with.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Topics discussed in this class are solely based on the art of DJing and song selection.
