The best writers write what they love. In this one time fun filled creative writing class, students will begin to explore the process of creating characters within their writing. Each student will be given the task of creating and writing descriptively about their very own new Star Wars Character. Students will begin by mind mapping, or bullet pointing ideas about their creation and will then move on to writing a piece of descriptive writing about their character. Students will focus on imagery to create a powerful character that would stand out in the Star Wars Universe. Images and videos of characters, as well as discussion of the Star Wars Universe will be used to aid in the creative process. Each learner will have a chance to share their character with the class if they wish.
