Intro to Computer Science: Beginner Computer Languages

Class Experience >>
In this beginner course, learners will be guided through computer science topics by completing small and fun projects. exploring core concepts like input/output (I/O), variables, data manipulation, numbering systems, writing algorithms, and programming language. The class will cover these concepts and apply them to real life projects, that the learner is creating themselves. 

The classes are made into two 1 hour long sessions, involving deep discussion on computer science topics, while working on a hands on project, that applies computer science topics. learners alongside the instructor will write pseudo code and then apply that logic in their project written in the language of their choice. The learner will receive guidance and feedback as they make progress with their projects.

Learners will conduct research on their project and discuss the pitfalls and positive outcomes of their experimentation with their projects in friendly and positive manner.

What Will Be Taught >>
- Object Oriented programming: a method of writing code in an organized collected way.

- Data manipulation: declaring values within code and changing while running.

- Loops and Conditional statements: writing code that implements "for", "while", and "if/else" logic.

- Operating system: How a computer operates, via a Command line interface (CLI).

-Project based learning: Create simple automation, games, animations, and programs.

- Directory navigation : through the CLI navigate through Operating system files 

Teaching Style >>
The teaching style is laid back and interactive. where learners will focus on creating something with their own hands, learning problem solving in a safe environment while fostering creativity and passion in this field.

Student Interaction >>
Students will have Opportunities to interact with the teacher, through live discussion, each session will have an update section where the student can show and talk about their projects.
