Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the basics of coding as it applies to the operation of the VEX robotics system. Concepts will translate to other more complex coding languages.
I studied electrical engineering in high school and college. I have built solar cars, electric cars, and a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle as well as a variety of robotics projects and platforms. I taught high school engineering for over 10 years and now teach middle school science and engineering.
I would suggest using the Chrome Browser for the simulator we will use for a robot. Some people have reported issues trying to get on with iPads. While this should work, I would recommend a computer (Mac or Windows PC) or a Chromebook as I have fully tested those. We may refer to these websites for examples and links in addition to virtual presentation. https://vr.vex.com/
