Intro to Apps Coding - Make Your Own Mobile Apps Level 3(Once a Week, 8 Weeks)

Objective : This class will help learners understand how apps are created. They will be able to design the app , build codes, debug and test it on their phones. They can add multiple screens, create functionalities to the app and more. 

Requirements : The class needs a learner to be able to read and write well and have basic block based coding knowledge. A prior class on scratch or level 1 of the same would be helpful. 

Device: High speed internet connection with a computer. To test the apps you would also need mobile phones. 

Lesson Flow:
Day 1 : Introduction to Thunkable and designing a simple communication app which enables calling features, sending emails and messages too.
Day 2  : Dice Roller app - An app which comes handy when you dont want to roll the dice for your board game. The app uses accelerometer which helps learners understand how gyroscope works. 
Day 3 and 4 : Bingo Game -The Bingo game is a simple puzzle app that is great for parties. Party goers take photos of the items in the nine boxes, which together reveals a hidden message.  
Day 5 and 6 : Space Invader - This is a space themed game in which you can shoot the asteroids using the spaceship.
Day 7 and 8 :Charlie checker app - It is a pet care app which helps learner implement a useful app to coordinate the care if their pet with other members in the house. 

This class is an interactive class, where learners will be asked questions and also made to do the apps alongside the teacher. The teacher will go as per the speed of the learners which might mean that one of the apps get missed if the learners require more time.
