Welcome to "Intro to Anime and Manga Drawing"! In this four-day summer camp, we'll be exploring the world of anime and manga art and learning the basics of how to draw your own characters in this popular style. Over the course of four fun-filled days, we'll cover all the fundamental techniques of anime and manga drawing, including character design, proportions, expressions, and poses. You'll learn how to bring your characters to life with dynamic poses and expressions, and explore the unique visual storytelling techniques that make anime and manga such a beloved art form. Each day, we'll start with a brief overview of a specific aspect of anime and manga drawing, followed by plenty of hands-on practice and personalized feedback from the instructor. Students are welcome to use a variety of materials, including pencils, markers, colored pencils, or digital art mediums including Procreate or Ibis Paint. (Student must already be familiar with their digital art software.) By the end of the camp, your learn will have a completed original anime and or manga character, Whether you're learner is an aspiring artist or just a fan of anime and manga, this camp is the perfect way to explore your creativity and have fun this summer. Parental Guidance
Students are allowed to use digital arts software if they are already familiar with drawing apps. Some drawing apps are Procreate or Ibis Paint which do not collect personal information from children.
